Fork Truck Loaded Discharging

Fork Truck FIBC Discharging

The simplest and lowest cost option for loading FIBCs into dischargers is using a fork lift truck.

The clean design of the lifting frame and the simple, yet positive method of location on the adjustable big bag arm supports makes this system popular, particularly where the discharger is feeding into a low-level conveyor.

Special FIBC lifting frames are available for certain applications where the fork truck safety cage presents a headroom issue.

All our heavy-duty bulk bag lifting frames are safe working load (SWL) tested and incorporate our unique safety loop retaining latches to prevent accidental release of big bag loops during lifting and discharge.

In most of these applications the discharger hopper is mounted in a hollow section support frame straddling a screw conveyor, rotary valve or vacuum feed bin into which the product is being discharged.

The FIBC lifting frame locates positively back to front and sideways on angled guides making loading and unloading of bulk bags safe and effective.

Adjustable arms, fitted to the support frame, provide quick, positive location for the lifting frame and allow for the handling of different height FIBCs/big bags.
